1. Dissolved Air Flotators (DAF)
The Dissolved Air Flotation Units (DAF) developed by Toro Equipment are designed for the optimum treatment and reduction of the concentration of solids in wastewater.
The equipment is manufactured in PRFV, AISI316 steel and PP.
The wide variety of dissolved air flotation units (DAF) enables the user to treat different ranges of water discharges.
Dissolved air flotation DAF units manufactures by Toro Equipment include:
- Lamellar system.
- Recirculation system in PP and stainless air-saturation container.
- Scraping system.
- Emergency shutdown and security systems.
- Control and air-injection pneumatic circuit.
- Clamps in compliance with the standards.

The dissolved air flotation system offers several possibilities in the recirculation circuit for adapting to the client’s requirements, including ball, SCP pump or BPS (Batch Pressurization System).
2. Rotary & Static Screens
The Defender® Rotary Screens, developed by Toro Equipment, are manufactured from AISI 316 L, covers standard or optional in GRP.
All rotary screens are fitted with electrical boards or wiring for connection.
These include flanges and connections in accordance with DN ISO, ANSI and ASTME standards and are made according to NEMA, CSA safety standards.
Designed for effective work without corrosion.
The rotary screen, range 40 and range 63, is manufactured in AISI 316 L, Duplex manufacturing is an option.
This rotary screens includes:
- GRP or stainless steel cover.
- Emergency shutdown.
- Drainage piping.
- Pressed stainless steel swivel ring flange.
- Cleaning circuit.
Rotary Screen HPS Defender® is a separation technology for large flows in less space, its instalation saves a considerable space.
Screening performance down to 150 microns or 0.15 mm.
With this pretreatment equipment a dryer solid residue is obtained and avoids problems later compaction process avoiding investments in other machines.
They are manufactured in stainless steel AISI 316 L and a blasting finish that increases the strength and durability of welds.
3. Filter Press
Draco filter presses developed by Toro Equipment S.L. are designed for the optimum dehydration of sludge, whether of industrial or urban origin.
The different filter presses sizes and models are manufactured in St 37-2 Steel, AISI 304 and GRP. The surface finish using epoxy paint protects the filter press from potential corrosion.
The three filter presses models offer a wide range of possibilities where size and number of filter plates are concerned.
The standard sizes are: 470 x 470, 630 x 630, 800 x 800, 1,000 x 1,000 and 1,200 x 1,200.
Draco® Automatic filter press is the most complete model in the Draco® range, because it carries out the complete sludge dehydration cycle automatically.
This filter press is provided with the following:
- Hydraulic unit.
- Air circuit for blowing the sludge cakes.
- Safety systems.
- Shaking shaft to make the sludge cakes fall.
- Drain pot.
- Flanges that comply with the regulations
4. Screw Conveyors
The transport screws consist of a stainless steel casing in the form of a longitudinal cradle on which the helicoidal worm gear is mounted.
In order to obtain higher transport capacity, the worm gear without a central shaft, rotates around its axis and, because of its shape, moves the transported materials towards the discharge mouth.
These transporters are employed in various industries because they can be installed in a wide variety of configurations, elevations and in many process sectors. They may be used to dispense, transport and for storage. Helicoidal transporters carry materials in a horizontal direction and they are sometimes inclined at various angles according to needs.
